Champagne Bronze and Steel
One thing that was impossible to do before the One-fire Trio is to fire bronze and steel together to get the amazing contrast between black and gold colors. Here is a project for this combination, which is now easy thanks to the One-fire Trio. The clays I used are Champagne Bronze and Low-shrinkage Steel XT.

I tried the new combo this week, love the champagne color it does look great with the steel. I had a bit of trouble with the copper not sintering but I think I made it too thick, one piece just broke but I refired the other and it came out fine. The steel and champagne pieces came perfect. Love this new clay and plan on trying more soon. Thanks !

I really like the new look of some of these pieces. They are so elegantly spare with the shapes themselves the focus of the piece.

when will champagne bronze be available in Canada ? I usually buy your products from MC alchemist.
I am still on my quest to make a cuff. I was thinking of firing the bronze in a sheet and then hammering it over a bracelet mandrel. I would need to anneal it at some point of course. I do not have a acetelyne torch. Could I anneal with the kiln or a butane torch? What temperature would I anneal your metals at? I would be interested in using smart bronze or steel xt primarily.
I was successful in making a flex bronze cuff the was made up of a number of spagetti type bands. I it not quite finished but I am excited with the look.

Jeniffer, The color is more pale, much like Smart Bronze. We are soon going to release Dark Champagne Bronze, which has the color of regular bronze.

I tried the new trio and enjoyed it a lot. It worked well for all the pieces that I tried so far ;)!
On a piece though, I used all the 3 colors, but there is hardly any difference to notice between the bronze and the copper. Is there any way to enhance the bronze? On the pictures you show us, the contrast between the yellow of the bronze and the black of the steel is really stunning (and I love it). Is there a way to achieve it too?
