This time I made it as a pendant.<\/p>\n<p>Step one: use copper clay instead of silver clay. <span class=\"frame-outer  small alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-890\"><span><span><span><span><a href=\"http:\/\/artinsilver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/t-112.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artinsilver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/t-112.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" width=\"108\" height=\"96\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-890\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><BR><br \/>\n<BR><br \/>\n<BR><br \/>\nStep 6: Use a 4mm square sterling bezel cup for a 4 mm cabochon. I picked a turquoise because it picks both the colors of the copper and bronze.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"frame-outer  small aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-891\"><span><span><span><span><a href=\"http:\/\/artinsilver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/t-13.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artinsilver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/t-13.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"96\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-891\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sterling silver bezel cups fire well in carbon. I&#8217;ve been looking forever for square bezels as small as 4mm, and was finally able to find these at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemresources.com\/index.php?subcat=323\">Gem Resources<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Gem resources also carry many natural stones that fire well in carbon and in open air, 2 hours at 1650F. For example: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemresources.com\/index.php?subcat=91\">Black star diopside<\/a>, which looks very elegant with bronze, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemresources.com\/index.php?subcat=60\">Hess garnet<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemresources.com\/index.php?subcat=56\">Rhodolite garnet<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemresources.com\/index.php?subcat=313\">rough garnet<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemresources.com\/index.php?subcat=57\">Orissa garnet<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemresources.com\/index.php?subcat=281\">Montana Sapphire<\/a>, and many other <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemresources.com\/index.php?subcat=396\">sapphires<\/a>, all fireable.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the project Hinged House from <a href=\"http:\/\/store.artinsilver.com\/haofmecltean.html\">Book 1<\/a>, p. 37.
