In this version the earrings are flat, not concave.<\/p>\n<p>1. Start with a copper circle as the back layer.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"frame-outer  aligncenter size-medium wp-image-977\"><span><span><span><span><a href=\"http:\/\/artinsilver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/t-copper-back1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artinsilver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/t-copper-back1.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" width=\"415\" height=\"281\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-977\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>2. Follow steps 3 &#8211; 6 of the original project, using smooth layers of bronze and copper clay instead of textured layers of silver clay.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the circles as they dry. As soon as they start warping, flip them over. Repeat until they stop warping. Alternatively you can tape them to a Corian block  or a piece of sheet metal.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"frame-outer  aligncenter size-medium wp-image-975\"><span><span><span><span><a href=\"http:\/\/artinsilver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/t-013.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artinsilver.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/t-013.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" width=\"415\" height=\"407\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-975\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>3. Instead of steps 7 &#8211; 8 of the original project, roll a layer of bronze clay. Fire the earrings.
