Architextural Jewelry Intensive

It’s a bit early, but my January intensive is filling fast. It hasn’t been officially announced, but it has been on my online store for quite a while.

It’s a 5-day intensive taking place at my studio in Berkeley, CA, on January 12-16, 2013. The focus will be pictorial and architectural jewelry. We will make at least two pieces, one flat and one 3D. The flat pieces involve using perspective, while the 3D involves constructing hollow forms, including rings.

The pieces are mainly constructed of low shrinkage Steel XT, copper, bronze, and Bronze XT.

The main requirement is experience with metal clay, specifically in base metal clays. No drawing skills are required! Here are some samples.
