What Would You Say?
What would you say if someone told you there was a clay, the color of 24K gold after firing, with a pleasant, workable consistency, no need for pre-firing, and a strong, malleable result after firing?
Please leave your comment below: What would you say? Could you get friendly with a clay like that?

Yes very much so.

Sounds great! Beautiful piece by the way.

I’m ready to try this clay. Clients and students are asking for clay looking as gold. But I have to admit that your new Bronze gives a spectacular result.
April 22nd, 2013 at 9:59 am
Absolutely. If it’s like your other clays, count me in.
April 22nd, 2013 at 10:00 am
Are you kidding!!!?!
April 22nd, 2013 at 10:04 am
Sure, although the brilliant bronze is very gold-like and suits my purposes. Due to my living in the mountains at high elevation I will probably always pre-fire to burn off the binder so that is not an issue. What I would also like is a silver-colored metal besides the current white bronze and steel that have the same qualities you list, strong and malleable, since I want to make prongs and bezels.
